Well, I don't think we're after feature-parity with HTML :)

Seriously, the existing "HTML feature" by which we mean conventional web-browser feature, works by fetching /favicon.ico; so Atom client software can easily emulate that, giving us feature parity. So what you're really requesting is a per-feed icon. Write a Pace. If you can get a few +1's quite likely nobody will stand in the way. And if it didn't get in, few hearts would be broken. -Tim
