Re: Windows Screen Reader Usage data
Webaim runs the largest screen reader survey every two years, and the results from the latest one will be released in a couple of weeks. You should check their website because their survey is completed by people with all levels of screen reader proficiency from around the world.
You should not limit yourself to testing with one screen reader. If you are testing websites for accessibility, you should test with the most common screen reader-browser combination, also reported on Webaim surveys.
If you decide to test with JAWS, you actually must purchase a license because the terms of the License Agreement state that the demonstration version of JAWS is not permitted to be used for accessibility testing.
