All I have to say about ads and adblockers is this:
I get that ads are what keep some services going. But if people don't want users blocking their ads, they shouldn't make them so irritating that they make us want to kick puppies. We don't click on YouTube links to watch 10 minute ads about things we most likely don't care about. That is if they still have 10 minute ads. That also goes for sites that have so many ads that it actually slows things down. Malvertizing is also a thing.
So, if people want or need to use ads to keep their sites going, they shouldn't be annoying about it. If they're annoying about it and and users start using ad blockers, then it's their own fault. If they start blocking the ad blockers and still use annoying ads, I have absolutely no sympathy whatsoever. I have absolutely no sympathy especially if their BS ads lag my machine. I swear, no one has common sense anymore.
