I would try not to take it so seriously dude, for your own sanity. Your holding kids to adult standards when they haven't even fully developed a moral compass or good reasoning skills yet.
And kids are the large majority of the people who are fine with unauthorized forks.
Obviously it's still bad for the community, but as long as we keep explaining it to them and not condescending or condemning to the point that they just get defensive, we'll get through to some of them as they get old enough to really fill the shoes of the past developers anyway.
That's what I hope at least... And I have already seen it happen a few times.
