Re: Last of Us II Tips and Tricks Guide

One thing I have noticed is that all items appear to have the same sound when scanned.  In other words, there seems to be no different sound to distinguish different types of items...weapon ammo versus collectible versus artifact versus workbench, etc., unless I am missing something?  The other thing that seems to be the case is that the scan doesn't keep track of items you've already interacted with.  This is especially noticeable in an area with lots of items.  For example, there's a location with several pictures, several other artifacts, a safe, etc.  After interacting with the pictures, when you scan again, it will show the pictures, even though you've already interacted with them, probably since you don't actually pick them up and keep them, and when you use L# to path yourself to the next item, you end up at one you've already dealth with.  .  That's a touch inconvenient in a crowded place where you are attempting to find everything.  Is there anything that can be done, or is it simply a case of just having to guess?  So far from what I've seen, though, this is an amazing, awesome job by Naughty Dog.  Sort of totally blows the whole, quote, we just can't do it, end quote , excuse that a lot of the major development companies seem to like to use with respect to game accessibility out of the water.  It also blows the, quote, "It'll ruin the game play for sighted players or players without disabilities, end quote, excuse out of the water as well, since all of the accessibility options are just that, optional.  Haven't we been suggesting that for years?  I hope that other companies take notice of what Naughty Dog has done in this case, and I hope they strive to do better going forward, now that their top two excuses just got thrown out of a very high, very large window.
