No, I don't feel like you have been gatekeeping me. I said that in response to other responses I have seen to other users. You are stingy about giving out spoilers. You have every right to do this if you choose, and no one should weaponize it against you. I was saying that I do not like gatekeeping when it comes oo this sort of thing, because at the end of the day, we're here to have fun, not beat our heads against walls.
I know you're not an official customer service person - you said as much - but I'm sort of taking you as the local expert, which means you're the first person I'm apt to ask a question of if I get stuck.
That said, I do appreciate the extra hints, and will try hard to incorporate them the next time I bust out the game. If nothing else, you should try and take my last message as me indeed asking for extra hints, rather than as me trying to criticize you. We have different ethos when it comes to spoiling people, but not -vastly different. I, too, would rather see someone try hard before just giving them answers (seriously, have you seen how many times I've asked people to use the search feature?), but some of the hints you've given others are, in a word, ephemeral. That said, I'm gonna find out how helpful this was. Thank you for your patience.
