Hi,

I think the common view is that there is no reason why FLAC should be
different to WAV, so there are 2 questions:

1) Is the difference you hear actual or psychological? The best way to
determine this is to do a blind listening test. If you can successfully
distinguish between WAV and FLAC in a blind test then _LOTS_ of people will
be really interested.

2) Your main question, WAV by definition does not allow tagging so the only
possible solution to this is to infer tags from the directory structure,
which I believe can be done but I'm not sure how. Perhaps someone else can
help with this.
