I generally don't bother with my vinyl - most of it is available on CD.
However, I did have a couple of old Steve Tilston [1] lps that I wanted
to convert to digital.
I sent them away to Pristine Audio [2] to get ripped. It's not cheap -
£30 per disc - but the results are excellent, and I consider it great
value for those "must have" vinyl transfers.
So, in summary, I would recommend you replace your vinyl with CD where
available and if you have any discs you can't get on CD and can't live
without, send them to Pristine Audio.
