1. It is not "people" but one person. I and many others verified that transcoding was taking place. 2. Placebo effects are real. You need to understand this and keep it in mind when doing subjective evaluation. (My car drives better when I have just had it cleaned, for example.) Unfortunately I have found quick A/B unsatisfactory for sound evaluation for a number of reasons. In addition, "proof" that something is NOT audible cannot be established. Only the opposite can possibly (but not necessarily) be established.
