You yourself have done an A/B test - you've listened to both settings,
right?  On the basis of your A/B test I thought you were saying before
there's a difference in sound.  

Now it sounds like your saying it depends on mood, which I certainly
agree with...  but unless your slimserver settings influence your mood
you may as well stream flac :-).
