As I see most of you guys have near bat ears. Is that a genetic requirement for an audiophile? ;-)
I'm 50 and get lost somewhere between 12.5 and 16 kHz, definitely not 16 kHz. In average the hearing loss of the higher frequencies is much much higher than you report. I would recommend this nice site: www.roger-russell.com/hearing/hearing.htm. But the basic question remains, do we have to bother with the high frequency response of our systems? Say above 16 kHz? Knowing also that these frequencies are the easiest to absorb (and simply disappear) in average listening room? -- krzys ------------------------------------------------------------------------ krzys's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2256 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=24693 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
