Alright, you guys have convinced me to get my ears cleaned out. FOr the last few years i ahve been plauged by tinitus (ear ringing). Me research tells me that the cause can be almost anything from caffine to ear wax build up.
Am i right that the ear ringing is just the brain turning up the volume to "normalize" things? This in turn causes the ringing, similar to when someone gets to close to a microphone and overloads it. Is that right? My ringing is strange too. It changes all the time. Sometimes i get a tone that dips across my face getting higher and lower in tone as it travels.
