Hello All, I would be curious to hear some arguments concerning passive pre-amps vs. active pre-amps.
I like the idea of a simple signal path and reduced electricity consumption, but i find passive pre-amplifiers to be a tad expensive. For a bit of context the two active and pre amplifers i am considering are the following: Creek OBH-22 http://www.creekaudio.co.uk/noflash_main_product.asp?prolook=obh22 Musical Fidelity X-Pre 3 http://www.musicalfidelity.com/products/xseries/xprev3.html and my system is a Musical Fidelity A3CR power amp , Epos M12.2 , and a SB3. -best -gwak -- gwak ------------------------------------------------------------------------ gwak's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5809 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=25614 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
