I'm running a SB3 into a Naim 5i and would think that a similar qualtity amp (The new Roksan Kandy) would be the minimum required to get the best out of a transporter ... In fact I would suggest your budget of £300 is put aside for high quality interconnects, speaker and power cables. If the Transporter is as good as touted I suspect to get the best from it you will need some serious kit....
