Paul, Mike et. al I am using a Sound Professionals glass toslink ($50). I also have the lesser priced one. I am told the same glass toslink is available on partsexpress for $30. I am using a Furman PowerFactor Pro and Blue Circle MR1200 balanced power conditioner daisy chained, with VHAUdio and Empirical Audio Magnum power cords. I dont have a DAC, I use a Panny XR55 to biamp my Silverline Sonatina's (fed by a Nordost Shiva power cord). Speaker cables are ZU Wax. I like the SB3 very much. I listen to more music now. I am not even playing SACDs anymore.
