In the latest swedish hifi-magazine HiFi & Musik [ http://www.hifi-musik.se/ ], they test which upgrade will do the most good for the system.
They start with a "good" (no names mentioned) approx. 5000 euro system. Then they try 3 different 1000 euro upgrades: 1. speakers 2. amp 3. cd-player The person doing the test writes that the best spent 1000 euros is on the cd-player, followed by the amp and last the speakers.
