Likewise. You will not part me from my Audionote DAC. I'm priced-out of the Transporter at the 2k range, but I'd sure like something that offers Transporter audio quality at a lower price point, say $1k, and if removing the analog componentry, the second display, the knob, etc did it, then you could sign me up. I'd sure hate to have to wait for 3 more rev's of the SB to get it. I've got to think there are more people with these requirements than those willing to part with 2000 for a unit of which they'll only use half the features, altho I assume SB did the market research (did they? I don't recall seeing polls on these forums - Slim's most loyal customer base, altho possibly not most representative?). Have to admit, I do feel left out of the party. Sucks. But still enjoying my (inferior, as I'm constantly reminded in these forums) SB3. -- joncourage ------------------------------------------------------------------------ joncourage's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2837 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=28246 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
