Likewise. You will not part me from my Audionote DAC.

I'm priced-out of the Transporter at the 2k range, but I'd sure like
something that offers Transporter audio quality at a lower price point,
say $1k, and if removing the analog componentry, the second display, the
knob, etc did it, then you could sign me up.

I'd sure hate to have to wait for 3 more rev's of the SB to get it.

I've got to think there are more people with these requirements than
those willing to part with 2000 for a unit of which they'll only use
half the features, altho I assume SB did the market research (did they?
I don't recall seeing polls on these forums - Slim's most loyal customer
base, altho possibly not most representative?).

Have to admit, I do feel left out of the party. Sucks.  But still
enjoying my (inferior, as I'm constantly reminded in these forums) SB3.
