Hi all, I have an Arcam cd93, cyrus DACX Cyrus Pre Xvs and Les W 260Z power amp and Kef Q7is.
I recently purchased a slimserver for the convenience aspects. Just for a wheeze i used my crap debian box and a Linux programme to FLAC some stuff onto a Buffalo Linkstation. Playing these files through my LAN to the squeezebox to DAC X etc is a revelation. Smooth detailed and seems to be particularly free of high frequency distortion, Makes MP3 sound as bad as everyone says it is! Any comments re my setup?
