cheers, however, i was hoping for some comments regarding the sound quality of my setup.
I currently have the music on the buffalo and copies of the software on a windows machine and also a lan to a debian machine. I've just discovered page 12 of the user manual and now i can use my debian machine to use the server software on the windows machine. Radio 3 for ever. How the heck am i going to find enough time to listen to all this good music!! I just have to work out how to get alien BBC working on the Debian machine. One of the points I was trying to make was that to my untutored ears the squeezebox, a cheap buffalo and an old machine running debian can hold its own against an £850 CD player. The hard disc system seems to restore some timing back into the music, Thanks, M. -- mudlark ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mudlark's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7151 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=28545 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
