Thanks for the tips on Linux. It's also great to hear folks view on audio sources.
I have a problem here! I live in an area where there are insurmountable FM reception problems. In one direction is the local transmitter and behind is a hill covered in trees. Thereception flutters from time to time. 180 degrees to this is another transmitter which leaks over the hill and causes cochannel interference. 90 degrees to these is another transmitter which is close to 70 miles away and guess what the signal isn't great. I do use a good roof aerial. My receivers are Quad FM3 and a Sugden R51. I prefered the R51. Due to this sadness it was with reluctance that i bought a TEAC DAB thingy. Yes I know ......it's not too bad as it connects to the Cyrus DAC X. regards to all, Mike. -- mudlark ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mudlark's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7151 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=28545 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
