Surely we are all idiots? Anyone who has a personal value system that places slightly better sound quality above, say, getting some wells dug for some poor village in Africa (or at least, votes that way with his wallet) is at best an idiot, and at worst indirectly a murderer, cursing those poor kids to cholera, no? Of course, I place myself in that category (thinking about it, I give more to charity than I spend on hifi, but when you take the music spend into account, it's reversed).
