For what it's worth, I am having no trouble streaming FLAC via a B wireless with around 70-80% signal strength.

As your your other point (sound quality) - I can hear no difference at all between wired and wireless models through system (TACT/MF DAC/Fully Active (12 amps) Linn 5.1 setup). Others may have different views of course...
