If you can get a Lavry cheap(the lowest price I was able to negotiate was 850.00 US.) then get it! Combined with the SB you are in Transporter territory for less money. I prefer the TP but the margin is very small and very subjective. If dollars were tight the SB>Lavry is the way to go IMHO. There are some great ,moderately priced speakers and integrated amps out there, read the magazines and weigh the input from the forums, but MOST OF ALL listen and don't be in a hurry. Try to find a good dealer in your area and also take advantage of the 30 day trials some people offer. You might not want to commit until you hear some competing gear.
