My advice is the same as Tomsi42...get the best speakers and amp with the money now - you can always get a dac later. A linear supply is £20 in the UK.
Look for 30-40% amp and 60-70% on speakers as a very rough guide. Don't forget an external USB2 backup hard disk (£115 for 500Gb). Also, some reasonable interconnects and speaker cables will be required - if you go the dac route later you won't want to have expensive analogue interconnects on your hands (although you could sell them).
