Eric,

I use both outputs - Balanced XLR and Unbalanced RCA. They are directly
connected between the Transporter and the Bryston 4B-ST.

The RCA is a entry-level MIT cable ($75?) and the XLR is a cheap
generic purchased at a musicians shop.

The Bryston has a switch on the back that let's you toggle between the
two. The default sound levels are close, with the RCA output slightly
higher.

I haven't changed the internal dip switches on the Transporter, -
didn't see a need. I don't play music very loud, and a setting of
around -12 on the Transporter is working for me.

What speakers do you use?
