I saw some of that - thanks very much for the links. It's a wonderful site. He seems intrigued with the idea of DSP, but uncertain if it would be superior or not. The link in the first post of this thread is to a site with lots of audio demos, one of which demonstrates that relative phase is not audible - at least to me, for the tone they use and through my computer's speakers. So I did try the experiment, kind of.
