It's pointless to compare one lossless bitrate to another as they might
just be equally bad. I had no problem at all hearing a difference
between 224kbit AAC and 320kbit AAC, and lossless. All this on my iPod
nano. This was with piano and symphony orchestra (some Mozart).

My point was that there is something missing in the reasoning if one
claims that lossy compression can be indistinguishable, but fail to
tell at what bitrate, and with what encoder/decoder.
