Phil, I'm seeing the same thing. So what needs to be determined now is whether the actual additional HDCD data is being recovered in this 'Logo:OFF' but 24 bit wav output state. I guess we need to take a non HDCD track and output it under the same conditions. Then compare the difference before and after this process for both the HDCD and non-HDCD tracks. On a different note, I have on several occasions taken 48KHz, 24bit wavs extracted from DVDs and converted them to FLACs which to the best of my knowledge were also 48KHz, 24bit, but I need to check the bit depth carefully before I swear my life on this. I need to step away for dinner, so with the time zone difference, hopefully we can continue this tomorrow.
