So your basing your entire argument on an entirely circumstancial
observation by a forum member? Has Havoc been measuring SRAMs for
years? Or will you acknowledge that bit erros happen, and its entirely
application specific what effect they have? Show me where I have
claimed single bit erros cause utter audio quality havoc - quite the
contrary.

My entire point was that just because something is ripped on a PC -or
ripped to a PC utterly free of errors with multiple checks- does not
mean it's henceforth bit perfect in reproduction forever, and that
there are elements in the chain that may cause occasional bit errors -
just like in the audio system malinged in this thread.

And again, my one question was about ripping issues, and how real they
are. I was asking because I don't know the facts there, and there is
not information from unbiased sources that I seem to be able to find. I
have not once found a problem - but that is circumstancial, and I'd like
more background information if there's any.
