Skunk, I having been trying to figure out this post and the resulting thread. I am just confused, so could you clarify something for me? Do you mean the following chain: HDCD - 16b rip -> SB3 -> S/PDIF out as 16b -> HDCD Player/decoder (e.g. DAC w. HDCD) -> S/PDIF out as 24b -> PC S/PDIF in -> recorder -> disk Is this what you mean?
