Have you tried with a CD player thru the coax? And the SB3 thru the optical? What about trying some wav or flac files through the SB - either fresh rips or conversions from your Apple Lossless files. This is quite intriguing. I'd be curious to find out how it all works out. P.S... You obviously never had problems when using it with your previous DAC .. right? Have you tried switching cables?
