I'm doing my collection now and I find EAC really quick to get a CD to WAV, it's just when the external flac begins that there is a bottleneck( takes 5-10 minutes a disc). Also I'm doing it on a laptop and my external CD drive is much, much qwicker tha n my internal DVD drive at reading the disks.
BTW I get about 5-6 done during my lunch hour.
