Hiya, Just after a recommendation or two, of any decent dac that could cut out the need for a preamp. (SB feeding the dac)
Have been reading and reading and found the Lavry DA10 should work well but has no remote for volume. A Dax Decade should be fine too, a Wadia 25, and a Benchmark. I have not found out yet, if these have remotes or not. I like quite a forward/fast presentation but not too bright. I find Naim gear far too top happy for my ears. Do dacs have similar sound signatures like Naim, Arcam, Linn etc? and is one able to say, Just for example, the benchmark is quite forward sounding (maybe similar to a Naim sound) the DA10 slightly on the warmer side....? Any more suggestions and/or comments much appreciated, Cheers :) -- Deaf Cat ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Deaf Cat's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=515 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=34733 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
