I use the Lavry DA-10 in my system. The SB3 feeds the DAC which shoots directly to the power amp. I have not found the lack of a remote on the Lavry a problem as the SB3 remote functions very nicely for that purpose.
(I do have a CD/DVD player on one of the Lavry's other inputs but it is used very rarely - basically only when someone brings over a CD and says "listen to this". If I like it the disk will end up ripped.
