Most floor standing speakers don't take too much to knock over either.
My Meridian DSP-5500's weight 180lbs each and it wouldn't take to much
to knock them over. I used to have B&W N803 and they were even more
tippy. You'd have to go to some pretty large floor standers to make
them tip proof. Like 802 or DSP-7000's. DSP-7000's are only $29,000.00
a pair :-) Or perhaps some Ariel 10T's.

Do you listen with the kids around or do you have your own "space". I
certainly understand you may wish to listen to music and enjoy the kids
in the same space. You may want to have your own space where the kids
are not allowed, but that's not always the right thing either.

I can teach my dogs to stay "off the rug". You should be able to teach
a the kids to stay away from the speakers. No don't touch daddies toys
:). Bad dog.

If all else fails bolt them to stands and bolt stands to the floor.

How old are the kids?
