Sell the kid? ;-) Just kidding. I've got the same problem - my son is going on three and I have a pair of ATC SCM100SLAT's in the lounge which also happens to be his playground. When not in use I keep mine covered with the drivers facing the wall so I can be sure he will keep his fingers, food etc. out of the drivers. It's a pain, but the reality is that for the moment I only get to listen when he and the boss are out.
In your case, could you get very heavy stands and attach a retaining bracket to its surface, into which the speakers are then placed? It would mean he would have to give them a very big thump before they fell over and they definitely couldn't slide off. Alternatively, consider putting them on a shelf or something similar and settle in for crappy sound for the next 18 months or so. -- egd Transporter >> SCA2 >> SCM100SLAT via balanced XLR Linux and loving IT! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ egd's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3425 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=35325 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
