only the transporter supports 24bit/96KHz. The squeezebox is max 24bit/48Khz and frames will be skipped in order to chop the 96KHz down to 28KHz. So if you want to play linn records stuido masters properly buy a transporter.
Out of interest for people playing this music on the transporter - how big is the difference between it and 16bit on your system?
