I just got DBPowerAmp to downsample to 48kHz.  Comments:
- You need to pay for the DBPA that can do this DSP.  Dead cheap.
- I decided that getting the downsampling done outside of the SB made
sense - better sound (although not really tested fully), lower
bandwidth usage, usage of SB3 within spec etc
- For some reason, I needed to decompress to wav then downsample.  DBPA
couldn't convert flac properly.

The 24-bit files sound great - why wait for a future version of the
firmware, when it's so easy now?
