The Sony Oxford tools are wonderful. And really expensive.
I don't know for sure if they are phase accurate, but I'd expect them to
be a lot better than generic "pro audio" plug-ins.

It would be nice. I'm not holding my breath. The serious Pro Tools-class
plug-in authors demand extraordinary DRM, including iLock dongles. Its
sad that so many folks in the audio music (which is software) business
don't respect the work of software authors. Piracy is rampant, so DRM is
the norm.
