I noticed you avoided commenting on whether you thought the DS was "better" than the SB+DAC... :o)
I am very familiar with Linn engineering (having bought LOTS of it over the years) and I have no doubt it is very well made...and sounds good... but it CANNOT possibly be worth the money they are asking in terms of value for money compared to the "competition"...still I guess this was inevitable.
