That's correct - no TacT is needed if you're only using the Transporter or SB3 for your music source. I'm using the TacT as a digital preamp for input selection and volume control. If I want to listen to the FM tuner or vinyl LPs, I switch to using the TacT's room correction since InguzDSP is no longer in the signal path. Acourate can generate filter files in both TacT format and Inguz format from the same room measurement, so I get effectively the same room correction using either correction technique. The Inguz filter is more precise than the TacT filter (it has more filter taps) and the InguzDSP convolution engine (the thing that applies the filter to the music signal) allows for phase correction - therefore using Inguz sounds better to me than the TacT.
