I don't think the SB3 or SB+ or Transporter should just be for geeks - what's wrong with people who 'don't do computers' using them?
I'm pretty sure Paul Messenger knows his audience, and that many of them are just like him, and not very au fait with networks and the like (they probably all use Apples too), so I'm sure the piece is written to appeal to, and to entertain them (I haven't seen it yet). FWIW, I found him to be both fascinated and excited by the technology - and so if you want to knock dinosaurs, you're knocking the wrong guy! Hi Fi Critic also published a Transporter review by Malcolm Steward - and I'm told he does do computers. -- Patrick Dixon www.at-tunes.co.uk ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Patrick Dixon's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=90 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=39438 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
