OK, sorry, I re-worded. Still, I would demo any and every possible speaker in my budget, time permitting, without regard to brand reputation among others.
I was sure I was going to buy Paradigm based on recommendations, glad I listened first. OTOH, Energy were not recommended due to tweeter fragility.
