Oops My bad thanks darren 1 week ago i replace my cambridge audio 640C with SB3 to feed CA 640A and drive Wharfedale 9.1. I like the improvement warmer detail midrange and not bright unlike my previous setup. But I miss wider soundstage my old CA did.and the SB3 sounds a bit grainier, i guess maybe the mainslead which is now left behind contribute to that aspect. btw I bought shek s1 DAC last night it cost me only 200 USD 2md hand. but the question remain whether or not I am doing the right move here. Also I heard that if you use external DAC you don't need linear PSUupgrade. Is that correct?
