The DAC has arrived, and I set it up and the sound don't improve much, since i used non 75 ohm standard non digital RCA interconnect. Then the vdH videolink 75 arrive and the sound is improved significantly unleashing shek d1 DAC's ability. Its more smooth treble, revealing, airy,and.....yes the imaging is more holographic, good enough for my modest system. the bad news is it has a switching PSU and the good news is It can be upgraded to linear for better sound quality I think. 4 thumbs up for derek shek
