A couple of points...

Inguz is not a DAC - it's DSP, offering room correction and other signal
filters.

Most preamps of any standard don't actually include tone controls.

The "sound" of a DAC is inherent to its design, as will an amplifier,
loudspeakers, etc. Putting together a system can involve balancing
components to achieve the overall presentation you like.
