It can confirm, it hasn't been fixed (fw33). Haven't tried the new fw34 yet, but there's no mention of this specific bug with its release.
I do have a tip for you though: Instead of power cycling to get audio output, switch to another digital input, and then back again. In my case, this solves the no-audio output issue. As for the burst of noise when you start an input, this still happens now and then. I too use the transporter as pre-amp, and besides these few issues, I really do like its simplicity. I too vote for this "rename + move to root" feature. -- Heimiko Transporter -> XLR Attenuators (-20db) -> Electrocompaniet AW100 DMB -> Dynaudio Audience 122 ___ └--------------------------------------------------------------------------------> BK Monolith Analog modded SB3 -> tube buffer -> Trends Audio TA-10 -> Eltax Monitor III ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Heimiko's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3462 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=41137 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
