In my balanced gear I've tried various attenuators, including the Endlers and the Rothwells. If you do go this route, avoid the Rothwells - they sound *terrible* compared with all others, by far. The Endlers sound the best, also by far. You can even get attenuators in-cable, search on ebay for "in line attenuator XLR lead" and you'll see some from proaudiorepairs there (they say 600 ohm impedance?). -- NewBuyer ------------------------------------------------------------------------ NewBuyer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7862 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=41137 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
