if you rip a dts cd you will also test you ripping process. The reason for this dts cd are not a "real" standard our cd drive will think that this is plain cd audio, the dts encoding is "inside "the audio data ? (my bad explanation). For this reason you can not listen to a dts cd with an regular cd player(the analog out will be noise) you can only use it's spdiff output to a ht processor/reciever, likevise any normal dac will also only make noise with this signal.
