After some serious thinking I am still considering a few options, so any advice would still be greatly appreciated. Here they are:
1. Stay with current setup (obvious really) 2. Relatively cheap upgrade to Diamond 9.1's. A little shallow I know but these are nice and my wife would really like them, even with no grills on. http://www.superfi.co.uk/index.cfm/page/moreinfo.cfm/Product_ID/3589 3. More expensive upgrade to the NHT Classic 3's. These look great, but would leave me broke, so the question with these is would they be worth the money. I am tempted, but it is tough as I could not test them first (can't find anyone selling them in the UK). 4. Change/upgrade to Wharfedale 8.2 Active speakers. The main question here is would I get the same quality (or better) sound than I get now with my amp/passive speakers? If the answer is yes then the idea of getting rid of a hi-fi stand, amp and speaker cable is appealing. All could be sold and the setup would take up virtually no space. Thanks again in advance. -- PLynas ------------------------------------------------------------------------ PLynas's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=11960 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=43944 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
